Born in Birmingham, Alabama she has been a resident of Vero Beach, FL for the past 16 years.
Prior to retirement, she worked for National and Pan AM airlines for 33 years.
Survivors include, daughters, Adrienne Rice and Susan McElvain both of Mirmar, FL, sister, Judy Resta, of Fayetteville, GA brother, Jimmy Hicks, of Centreville, AL and 3 grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 18, 2010 at Aycock Funeral Home, Fort Pierce, FL at 11:00am, with entombment to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Fort Pierce, FL.
