Carl was born in Chicago, IL and has been a resident of Port St. Lucie for the past 13 years coming from Fort Lauderdale, FL and Hendersonville, NC.
Carl served in the Navy during World War II in the submarine service.
Prior to retirement Carl was a Federal Liaison Officer for Gould Computer Technologies in Fort Lauderdale, FL. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Fort Pierce, FL. Carl was also a member of the National Rifle Association and former president of the Republican Men’s Club of York, PA.
Survivors include sons Gene Adams of Fellsmere, FL, Ken Adams of Port St. Lucie, FL, David Sanders of Hendersonville, NC, Chuck Sanders of Port St. Lucie, FL, Jim Nissen of Miami, FL, daughters Candy Adams Chyzy of Reddick, FL, Wendy Wyers of Lakeland, FL, sister Mary Son of West Hills, CA, companion Lillian Baker of Fort Pierce, FL, 13 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 33 years Ruth and son Robby Sanders.
Visitation will be Thursday June 13th, 2013 from 4pm-7pm at Aycock Funeral Home, Fort Pierce, FL. A memorial service will be Friday June 14th, 2013 at 11:00am at Aycock Funeral Home, Fort Pierce, FL, burial to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Fort Pierce, FL.
