For the past 17 years, Betty was employed at Belk department store where she earned recognition from Estee Lauder as top sales associate. She cultivated a following with thousands of loyal customers who appreciated her expertise and personal touch.
Beyond her career, Betty enjoyed many hobbies throughout her life, including gardening, playing cards, bowling, reading novels, and watching Jeopardy. An avid football fan, she passionately cheered for both professional and college teams, especially the West Virginia Mountaineers. Betty gave back to her community by volunteering with the Arthritis Association of Indian River County and a women’s shelter in Brevard County.
Her faith played a central role in her life. She was a dedicated member of Vero Christian Church, participating in the women’s Bible study group.
