Virginia L. Rogers, of Fort Myers, FL, celebrated her 91st birthday on Thursday, 24 March, and went to be with her LORD Wednesday afternoon March 30, 2016. A resident for the past 24 years, she was formerly of Bucks County, PA.
She was a member of the Tice United Methodist Church of Fort Myers.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Rogers; daughter, Virginia Marks; and son, Dennis. Survivors include her son, Norman and his wife, Carole; Son-in-Law, Peter Marks; and Daughter-in-Law, Dreama Rogers; 12 grandchildren; and 18 great grandchildren; and loved them all dearly.
She had a joy for life, cooking and gardening. Her joyful whistling will be missed.
A graveside service for family and friends will be held on 15 April 2016, at the Bordentown Cemetery, Bordentown, NJ. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to, Zion’s Hope (zionshope.org). Arrangements under the direction of Hodges Funeral Home at Lee Memorial Park, Fort Myers, FL.
