Raymond P. Cloutier, 74 of Ft Myers Florida passed away peacefully at home on December 13th. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Friday at the Hodges Kiser Funeral Home with Funeral Services at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church. Raymond was born on July 20, 1937 and raised in Lewiston Maine, the oldest of nine siblings in a very close family. He attended high school at St. Dominic’s, class of “55”. He subsequently attended the University of Maine Orono where he earned his BS degree in mechanical engineering, and met his wife Beverly. He had a long and fulfilling career as Plant Manager with Allied Chemical, which later became Arcadian Corp. He is survived by his wife Beverly (Goodwin) who he was married to for 51 wonderful years. During their life together Raymond and Beverly traveled the world and enjoyed life. He is also survived by, son Michael, his wife Nancy (of Ft Myers),son David, his wife Laura (of Savage Minnesota), son Mark, his wife Lisa (of Macon Georgia),and daughter Stephanie and her husband Eric Martuza(of Tampa), and eight grandchildren. He is also survived by seven brothers and sisters, Sr. Francesca Cloutier , Claire Poirier , Jean, and Marie Waterman all of Auburn, Maine, Philippe of Portland, Me., Adrien of Tyngsboro, Mass., and Lise Schulze of Melbourne, Fla. He is pre-deceased by his parents Francoise and Laurent Cloutier of Lewiston Maine, his brother Arthur Roger Cloutier of Lewiston Maine and his grandson Brandon Cloutier of Ft Myers Fl. He will be sorely missed for his guidance, his devotion to friends, and great love and generosity towards family.,He will be fondly remembered for his enjoyment of poker, a fine meal, and a good glass of wine. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Salvation Army.
