Luis Antonio Rodriguez

Luis lived his life helping people and was always there for everybody. He was an avid sports fan, but baseball and the New York Mets were his favorite. He enjoyed fishing and bowling as well as watching action movies in his spare time. He just became an official member of his bowling league. Before he moved to Florida, he worked for SkyChef. After moving to Lehigh Acres, he enjoyed working for the Lee County School District.

Luis is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Lillian Rodriguez; mother-in-law, Esperanza Rodriguez; children: Luis Jr., Cindy, and Dannie; grandchildren: Joshua, Aubrey, Jayla, Anthony, Adyana, Michael, Leila, Sanaiya, Dannie Jr., Joseph, Caleb, Rylo and Lyanni; siblings: Ana, Tomas, Lourdes, Edwin, Madeline, Noel, and Myrna; nieces and nephews: Chelsea, Cristina, Kiara, David and Johnny along with many more nieces and nephews from Connecticut to Puerto Rico and those who he equally considered his children, grandchildren, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, daughters-in-law and son-in-law.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Hodges Funeral Home at Lee Memorial Park 12777 State Road 82, Fort Myers, Florida on Saturday, November 9th from 2:00PM to 6:00PM. Inurnment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the family to help with funeral expenses would be appreciated.
