Judith Laura Brennan Violette – age 75 of Fort Myers, Florida, formerly of Arundel, Maine, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on January 29 with her devoted husband by her side. Judy was born April 30, 1947 to Robert Brennan and Anita Brochu Brennan. Judy was a kind, caring and devoted wife, mother, Grandmom, sister and friend. She was a compassionate listener with such a loving heart and gave the best hugs. Her family and friends, who loved her deeply, will always be thankful for the gift that was her life and truly mourn her loss. She is predeceased by her parents, her brother Craig Brennan and grandsons Geoffrey Holbrook and Luke Munster. She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Leo Violette, daughter Lori Ann Holbrook, son and daughter-in-law Donald and Karen Holbrook, daughter and son-in-law Sherri and William Shook, step-son Stephen Violette, step-mother Betty Ann Lavigne, brothers William Brennan, Jeffrey Brennan, Danny Shuffleburg, sisters Christine Gallant and Molly Whitten, grandchildren Shane, John and Douglas Holbrook; Joshua, Joseph, Christopher and Brandi Shook; Emily Dewitt and Nichole Osterday; great-grandchildren Hailey, Sophie and Ollivea Shook, Landon and Payton Holbrook, Tanner and Gavin Holbrook, Charlotte Dewitt, Finley and Lila Osterday, and many nieces and nephews. A celebration of life will be held in late spring or early summer in Maine.
