Jeffrey graduated from Catasauqua High School in 1965 and earned a Bachelor of Science in Zoology from Penn State University in 1969. Following his military service, Jeffrey worked for 25 years in quality control at Lafarge in the Cement and Gypsum division, retiring in 2004. Shortly after his retirement, he and Nancy moved to Fort Myers, Florida, where Jeffrey became an active volunteer at the Six Mile Cypress Slough Preserve. His work with the staff and visitors at the Slough brought him immense joy and fulfillment in his retirement years.
A dedicated husband, father, and grandfather, Jeffrey will be remembered for his kind heart, dedication to his family, and his love for nature and community service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Six Mile Cypress Slough Preserve. Donations can be made online at https://www.sloughpreserve.org/preserve.
