Guy was born March 17, 1947 in Kansas City, Missouri to Guy F. Davis Jr and Geneva Davis. Guy and Susan moved to Florida in 1986 with a job transfer with General Electric. They moved to Carmel, Indiana for two years and then moved back to Fort Myers, Florida to start their CPA firm. Davis, Davis & Company CPAs, PA was Guy and Susan’s labor of love and they owned the business for 25 years before selling it in 2020 to enjoy retirement.
Guy loved Jesus and served him faithfully. He was an elder in each of the churches he attended. When he joined the elder board two years ago at Riverside Church in Fort Myers, Florida he told the congregation that he wanted to finish his life well. Well done my good and faithful servant.
Guy and Susan loved to travel. In May 2022 they went to Hawaii which was their 50th state. They also traveled to over 45 countries with the highlights being Israel, Australia and Guy’s favorite city of London.
Guy will be deeply missed but he leaves behind a strong legacy of faithfulness and serving the Lord.
