Elaine Margaret Schmidt

She worked for the Florida Department of Correction from 1969 until her retirement in 1991.

Elaine was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Jerome P. Schmidt Sr, 2 brothers and 2 sisters. She is survived by her children: Jerome P. Schmidt Jr., Donald M. Schmidt, Gregory A. Schmidt, Kathleen M. Hopkins, William A. Schmidt, Richard J. Schmidt and their spouses; 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Hodges Funeral Home at Lee Memorial Park 12777 State Road 82 Fort Myers, FL on Wednesday, July 6th from 9 am until the time of the funeral service at 10 am. Burial will follow in Lee Memorial Park Cemetery.
