William Edward Taylor

September 10, 1939 – July 15, 2024

William Edward Taylor, II, 84, of Wilton Manors, Florida passed away peacefully on July 15, 2024 at Williamsburg Landings.

Bill was an affectionate, dedicated and hardworking man who truly loved life; loving father, husband and friend.

He was born in Pittsburgh, PA to the late Catherine & William. He was a graduate of Westview High School in Pittsburg. He and his twin brother Jim owned and operated WE Taylor Maintenance for 67 years and worked until age 83.

Most of all he loved to travel. He and his Southland Playboy Motorcycle Group have been all over the United States and even flew their bikes to Europe. He would talk to anyone and everyone – he never knew a stranger! One of his claims to fame was the Christmas Display that he and Jim worked diligently on for over 25 years and brought joy to so many people.

Bill is survived by wife, Susan Taylor of 31 years, his twin brother Jim (Joanne), his brother Ken (Jan), his sister Ginny, his son Billy Taylor, his daughter Wendy Musich (Ray), daughter Christie Oldberg (Gary), Carey Crowley - nieces and nephews: Terri Wright, Jimmy Taylor, Jr. (Kim), Buffy Dewar (Drew) Yvonne Roberts (Matt) - and grandchildren: Brian Taylor and Blake Musich, Zach and Chenney Oldberg and Amber Taylor. Many loving family members as well: James Wright III, Carlie Wright, Kirstin Taylor, Jordan Taylor, Logan Dewar and Taylor Dewar. A very special friend, Mary Kiefer.

To celebrate the life of our Beloved Bill services will be held Tuesday, July 30, 2024 at Kraeer/Fairchild Funeral Home located at 4061 North Federal Highway, Fort Lauderdale, FL from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. with a gathering following at Peter Pan Diner, Oakland Park. In lieu of flowers, the family is suggesting donations to the Alzheimer’s Association. There will be Live-Stream (Zoom) connection with Zoom Meeting Number 954 525 0034/Passcode 954 525 2221 beginning at 12:30 p.m.

The family would like to send a special thank you to Monica, his caring private nurse, for taking such good care of him during his critical time of need.

This is not goodbye – this is “Check you out later”! You will be missed an immeasurable amount and you left your legacy with so many. We love you!
