Each time I re-read the memorials to Stephen, it brings to light how special Stephen was and still is to so many people.  I'm sure there isn't a moment that passes that this tragedy leaves your mind.

I am so shocked to run into you tonight and learn about Steve’s passing. I have lived as your close neighbor since he and his sister were small children. My heart is breaking for this lost of such a beautiful spirted young man!  His smile warms your heart each time you see him.  I worked with Steven just several weeks ago in the Boca Showroom, so my memories are still so fresh. My condolences to family and loved ones.  He was a indeed was a shining star! Prayers and ❤️

Stephen was a friend to everybody he met. When we met for the first time in middle school, I thought that he would be the stereotypical "popular" guy, but I quickly found out that I was wrong. Stephen was popular with everybody he was around because he was so friendly, no matter who you were. I remember how we would joke with each other about sports and had a sort of joking "rivalry" in soccer and track...but Stephen was far more talented. Any sport he played he was naturally talented at and yet he would still joke with me about "who was better." Stephen was the bond that brought multiple friend groups together because he was just so approachable and easy to relate to. I'm still thankful for that to this day, because of him I've been able to have so many great friends over the years who I otherwise would have never met. It never mattered how long you hadn't seen each other, Stephen would always treat you as a close friend with that contagious laugh. Today I'm celebrating his life and I'm thankful for the time I was able to spend with him.

I had the pleasure of working with Stephen at the Boca Showroom. Even though I have only been part of this family a short period of time we all have a very special bond. 
Stephen was always so helpful and never left me hanging when I needed help. I would sit next to him on that tiny stoop when I first started and just ask him question after question and he answered each one and never made me feel bad or stupid. 
Every morning I would go up to him a do this really annoying loud whisper saying “STEPHEN” and he would slowly lift his head with a smirk waiting for me to say Good morning. I know it annoyed him and that’s why I did it but I know he secretly like it too. I am going to miss that every morning at work. 
I’m going to miss looking at my watch waiting to see what time he will actually get to work in the mornings. And I know we are all going to miss waiting to hear what his excuse is for being late…. Again. 
Such an amazing guy with so much life ahead of him and taken way too soon. 
I am so happy that I got to know him and that he will forever be in our hearts. 
My deepest condolences to all of his family. Please know he was so loved at work and he will be deeply missed.

First and foremost my deepest condolences to the entire Wilkerson family. I had the privilege and honor to work with Stephen in the Boca Raton Showroom. He was always a pleasure to be around.  

From the first day he arrived in Boca, he had that quiet confidence. He was a calming presence, unflappable, and amazingly mature for a man of his age. He had a “great spirt” that made even the “Boca Customers” chill. 

He had swag, and the demeanor of a champion. Quietly competitive, he was a star!! He was always ready to help, looking out not for himself, but for “Boca’s Best”—our showroom family.  I am proud to be able to call him my friend.

Parents a job well done. My thoughts and prayers are with you both. He was a class act, and that doesn’t just happen. The apple does not fall far from the tree.

Stephen wasn’t just a salesperson to me at Ferguson. As an Interior Designer, I had the privilege of working with him this year and he proved to be sweet, kind, patient and dependable. My heartfelt condolences to the Wilkerson family and Ferguson colleagues.

Stephen was loved and respected by all who knew him! Our son, Jonathan, considered him his best friend. They were inseparable during high school and played in ALL the sports together. We loved having him come over and join us on some family vacations.  He, Jonathan and Chance were always joking around and so much fun to be around. We will be praying for supernatural comfort for all of the family! He will be greatly missed and never be forgotten.

I still can’t believe this is real. You were truly the closest thing I had to a brother. I know if you were reading this you would tell me “stop crying” and laugh at me with that contagious laugh you had. Where do I even begin? 2nd grade was the first time we met. You, me, and Andrew immediately clicked as friends. We did everything together for most of our lives through high school. To this day, I remember how upset I was when you left SFCA to move away. Then when you finally decided to come back and how excited I was to have my brother back. 

The first day you came back, I was already recruiting you to play soccer and football, but your main concern was wrestling. And man you were good at it. You just always excelled at everything, both academics, and athletics. You always had time for me when I needed help with math, or if I wanted to run cornerback drills after football practice. Some of my greatest memories. 

As the years went on, you became more and more like my brother. You were in my wedding as a groomsman and a part of almost every major event in my life. These last four years of me being in the military have been tough, especially because I’m so far away now and we weren’t able to hang out like we used to. I always wanted you to come to visit me in Cali, but those dumb wildfires stopped that. I wish I could just text you about stupid sports stuff or a "hey get on Xbox bro" like we did. If I could just hang with you one more time man I would give anything. But I know you are in a better place now, I knew you loved God and I know you are looking down at us right now proud of the impact you had on the people you met. I love you so much man. Rest In Peace my brother.

My heart is breaking learning of Stephen's passing.  Stephen grew up with us in Reflection Lakes.  My son, Austin, was very good friends with him...they went to Bible camp together and Stephen and Sarah even went on vacations with us.  I don't think a day went by that they weren't together, whether it was at my house or his.  I truly don't have the right words to say how sorry I am for his family. Me Stephen and all the guys where inseparable for a lot of years. We were all brothers. Even though life took us all in different directions we all still did our best to stay in touch and where always there for each other. Everyone tells you the friends you have today won’t be the friends you have 5-10 years after you graduate and I think our group broke the mold on that stereotype. No matter how long it had been since we had seen each other we always picked right up where we left off as if no time had passed. Stephen was a great friend and a great man. He was one of the smartest friends I had. His ability to pick things up he had never seen or done and master them in no time never failed to blow my mind. He worked with me for a couple summers we where in sports together and countless other things and he excelled in absolutely everything he did. I looked up to him in alot of ways and this aspect of him drove me to try to keep up with him  in everything we did. He pushed me in alot of ways that I don’t even think he knew about. And I wish I could’ve told him. I feel lucky to have called him a friend and feel beyond blessed that we were able to reconnect in recent months. We talked about real life and how naive we all use to be and probably still are, religion and the bigger picture. Had Some really good talks with an old friend this year. I loved him like a brother. He had a huge impact on alot of peoples lives and He will live on in our memories forever. 

Hello I am Joey Rizzocascio, I worked with Stephen in the showroom at Boca. I just want to say I am sorry for the loss... my thoughts and prayers are with the Wilkerson family. I also would like to share a memory more recently before this tragic event. on Friday march 25th, I went to lunch with Stephen, at first we were joking around and cracking jokes, but once we sat down we started to have a more serious conversation. among the discussions we talked about life, career, most recent activities, and happiness. during our discussions at lunch and previous times, I realize now, even though Stephen was only 2 years older than me, I viewed him as a peer, someone I could look up to, and relate to. In these conversations I realized, how amazing Stephen really was, how composed and reserved he can be and then how open and comforting his presence was moments later.  I was truly honored to work him and as time went on form a closer bond more than just workers but truly as friends. I am truly honored that I got to spend one of my final moments with him at lunch and talk about random things and how great life really is with Stephen. finally I am grateful for every time I got to see him at work. I am so sorry for the lose of truly a great man and person, and I will cherish the moments I have had with Stephen for the rest of my life. thank you.

Stephen was my first roommate I ever had in college. I came to school last minute not knowing anyone and placed with three random roommates. From the second I walked in he embrace me and became a best friend. He was always there for me to anytime I needed him to. He always offered To help always whether it be a friend or a talking hand. He always treated me like family and I’ll never forget the boat trip, the Dinings we had together, the video games, and most importantly the athletics where we always butted heads LOL. I could keep going on. I would do anything in the world to play football with you on a Sunday again like we had the past few months. I love you Mo. It hurts to know that we were just texting this week. Thank you for always treating me like a best friend from the second I met you. I will forever cherish those memories at Florida State we had my whole freshman year. I never got to tell you how much it meant to me for how you treated me like a best friend from that first second I walked in.
