A visitation for Pamela will be held Saturday, January 28, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at 4366 - Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 2401 Southwest 64th Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33317. Following the visitation will be a funeral service from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 2401 Southwest 64th Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33317.

Pamela Yvonne Williams was born Kingston, Jamaica to Sidney Hutchinson and Claire Thomas on June 8, 1949. She graduated from Mico Teachers College, Kingston, Jamaica where she was formally trained as a teacher. She later taught at many different grade levels in primary school for greater than 10 years. Pam later immigrated to the US where she attended and graduated from Nova Southeastern University with a Bachelors in Education and later a Masters in Special Education. She worked as a teacher for more than 20 years and retired from Highland Oaks Middle School in 2015. She was actively involved in the children’s ministry at ChristWay Baptist Church and supported several charities such as American Cancer Society, Save the Children and St Jude.
Pamela Williams was preceded in death by both her father (Sidney) and mother (Claire).
Pamela is survived by her sons Mario and Garris and her daughter Karen and son-in-love Paul, brothers Tony, Calvin, David, and Ricky and sisters Dawn, Murine, Beth, Lorna, Margo, Althea and Lorraine, her grandchildren Jeffrey, Myles, Krista and Destini, also Leroy who was like a son to her as well as numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, godchildren and friends in the US, UK, Canada, and Jamaica.
