Michael was born in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida to Tony and Pat Fano on February 19, 1975. He went to school at Palm Beach Gardens High School. He married Tanya Fano on September 17, 2009 in Martha’s Vineyard, MA. He graduated from Palm Beach State College. He worked in the field of radiology for many years, and most recently worked as a Clinical Application Specialist for Medtronic. He was involved in the prison ministry through Calvary Chapel Boca Raton which brought hope to many.
Michael loved adventures with his family, especially traveling and exploring new places. He loved road trips and creating new memories with his wife and son, no matter how near or far they traveled. Michael loved paddle boarding and kayaking, and when not out on the water you could find him enjoying time with friends or simply playing basketball in the street with the neighborhood kids. Michael had a genuine love for people and had a way of making you smile and filling your heart with hope. He was a man of faith, and helped many fight their own battles while he put his to the side. Michael put all others before him, and that’s what his friends, family, and all who knew him will remember. His kindness, generosity, and loving heart will truly be missed.
Michael is survived by wife,Tanya Fano and son, Shane; his brother, Tony Fano and his wife Pearl; his parents, Tony and Pat Fano; and his nephew, Alex Maxwell and his wife Emily .
A celebration of Michael’s life will be held 10:00 AM Saturday September 24th at Calvary Chapel Boca, 1551 W Camino Real, Boca Raton, FL. A reception will immediately follow from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
