I need to extend my gratitude to my beautiful wife Nellie, her sister Nancy, brother Moises, niece Jessica y titi Forto tambien for allowing me the privilege of sharing those final moments with Mami. It was an experience that will change me in ways I'm sure I don't yet even know. From the Moment she welcomed me into the family Mami always made me feel as if I were just as important to her as any of her children and went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable.  I know this is why she is so special to everyone. Even my children, her grandchildren, are testament to her kind heart and loving nature, and I am grateful for the time they got to spend together. Thank you Mami for all you have done for your family and for mine. Te amo mucho Mami

She was a bright light to all that knew her….so kind and loving.  She will be missed tremendously and our hearts and prayers go out to all of you. Titi Ina was one of the sweetest person I have ever met. Since I was a little kid I remember her sincere smile and tender attitude toward everyone especially the family.  Hard work and loving care characterized her life. I’m convinced that she’s with our eternal Lord. We will miss you a lot Titi Ina. Rest in peace.

My husband Andy and I have only met Maria Hernandez a few times.  Her daughter, Nellie, is married to our son Eric.  By reading all the memories it is obvious that she was loved and will be missed by many.  Our since condolences go out to the family.  Just know that she is resting in peace in Heaven and is watching over her beloved family.

My memories of Mrs. Hernandez. I had the honors of meeting Mrs. Hernandez at the age of 14. The minute I step foot into the house Mrs. Hernandez welcome me into the family.
Within 2 to 3 months of Mrs. Hernandez, knowing me she gave me my first gift for Christmas (Pierre Cardin cologne ) there was some thing about Mrs. Hernandez that always stood out the tranquility of her the way she spoke to people and the way she raised her children. If all mothers of today would raise their children, the way Mrs. Hernandez raised her children. This world will be a better place. And I must also add that I know from the bottom of my heart Mrs. Hernandez is an angel. God has a special place for her up in heaven RIP🙏🙏🙏❤️

My beautiful mother. I can't believe you are gone.  I will never forget you. I will honor your name because you raised me the right way. You are my angel in heaven.  I don't know how I will go on with out you because you were the only person that I could count on in my life. You were always there to comfort me. You always looked at the positive side of things. I have known Maria's son, Moises, for two decades and learned a lot from him about his dear, departed mother.  I had the pleasure of meeting her once.  Maria was an amazing mother, very devoted to her late husband and grown children and grandchildren. She was hard working, always doing things to care for and nurture the family. Everyone loved her authentic cooking, everything was made with so much love. She helped so many people besides her family. Numerous neighbors, friends and relatives. She was in a very real sense like a saint, so selfless and kind. She will be terribly missed by everyone who was lucky enough to know her
