Deanna Marie Agrillo

Dee is survived by her mother Sophia Bauer (Deland, FL), brother Dennis E. Bauer (Deland, FL), her long-time partner, James M. McLaughlin, Jr, her stepchildren, Jessica Haddix (Husband, Bobby Haddix), James M. McLaughlin III, Jason McLaughlin and her grand-daughter Taylyn Haddix; She is preceded in death by her father Dennis F. Bauer and Sister Suzanne Soliday.

Dee was born on June 8, 1960 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida to Sophia Bauer and Dennis F. Bauer (deceased). She attended Trinity Lutheran School in her younger years and then graduated from Plantation High School in 1978. She was employed at McLaughlin Engineering in the 1980s until her passing, where she was a talented draftsperson. Her family grew close with the McLaughlin family over the years and she and James’s developed a strong friendship. In the early 2000s she and James reconnected and fell in love. They built a beautiful life together where she grew an unbreakable bond with his children and thought of them as her own. Dee’s stepchildren will remember her as a kind, loving, fun, beautiful step-mother who encouraged them to pursue their goals and enjoy life’s moments.

Dee was accomplished at singing in the choir at Trinity Lutheran Church in Fort Lauderdale and talented at drawing. She was a generous and loving individual who loved butterflies and who was passionate about gardening and spending time with family. She was a dedicated member of the North American Butterfly Association.

A Celebration of Life Ceremony is scheduled for April 26, 2023 from 5pm until 7pm at Kraeer-Fairchild Funeral Home, 4061 N Federal Highway, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33308. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Dee’s life.
