David W. Davis was born in Nanticoke, PA to late
William Davis and Helen Mae Varner on March 8, 1931. He moved to Manhattan as a young boy and that is where he would meet the love of his life Betty. They married on December 11, 1954 in NYC. David worked with the telephone company for over 30 years. He was a Veteran of the Korean War from 1951-1952 and served in the U.S. Marine Corps and was Honorable discharged and awarded a Purple Heart on October 12, 1952. He loved to restore Classic Cars, including 1965-66 Mustangs, MG’s and his 1970 280SL Mercedes. David had such a amazing sense of humor that will live on forever in all of us! His love, laughter and kindness will carry us in our hearts forever. He was truly one of a kind. Until We Meet Again…..We love you Always and Forever!
David is preceded in death by his Beautiful wife Betty Davis and his Beautiful Daughter Debra Annunziato
David is survived by his 3 Children, Sandra Kauffman and Her Husband Kolby Kauffman from Scotrun PA, Gary Davis from Ocala FL and Edward Davis Ocala FL. His 8 Grandchildren Jessica Davis, Cody Annunziato, Shelby Stotler, Savannah Jennings, William Davis, Danielle Annunziato, Ashlyn Davis and Kaitlyn Davis.
David will be laid to rest next to his wife Betty at Forest Lawn South Mausoleum.
Visitation will be on Monday December 4th from 12-2 at Forest Lawn South Davie Fl 2401 Davie Road, Fort Lauderdale 33317 954-792-9360.
The U.S. Marine Corps Honors Ceremony will be at 2pm to Honor David W. Davis for his service and recipient of a Purple Heart. David W. Davis will forever be OUR HERO!!! We Love you Always and Forever for all of Eternity.
