Martone, Daniel A., a 25 year resident of Ft. Lauderdale passed away September 9, 2010 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He is survived by a cousin and 2 nieces in New Jersey, as well as a host of friends in New York and Florida. Danny was preceded in death by his parents and his partner of 47 years, Oscar Stempson. Danny retired from the Uniformed Firefighter Assn. of Greater New York, Local # 94 in 1974. He then, with his partner went into the Real Estate Development business in New York State. They together had the talent, the will, and the energy to be successful in every endeavor they undertook. He retired to Florida in 1985, where he pursed his love for travel, with over 50 trips all over the world.
