Carly was one of the most joyful and caring people I have ever met. Carly and I started at Citrix the same day and when we both found out that we were originally from Fort Lauderdale and went to rival high schools we had an instant bond. What a shock it is to hear of the loss of this sweet soul. After reading through these memories, it’s clear that I am not alone in thinking that Carly was an absolute ray of sunshine. I genuinely can’t remember a time through all of high school and our sophomore year lunches together when Carly wasn’t laughing or smiling. My deepest sympathies go out to Carly’s loved ones. I had the pleasure of living with Carly for 2 years during our time at FSU. My favorite memories with her was our daily routine during senior year. After doing school work in the morning, we would drive to AXO together to get our lunch and always jam to early 2000s music on the way and watch either a Disney movie or a reality tv show as our break while we ate. We always planned our afternoon around doing a barre or Pilates class and often had reading dates. Most week nights ended sitting on the couch with the roomies and a glass of wine watching one of our shows. I will always be so grateful for all of the quality time spent with Carly doing our favorite activities. I love you forever and ever my dear friend.

We would always have an amazing time hanging out together. You were so funny and could light up a room with your smile. I remember one time dancing on top of my countertops in my apartment with you and Kelsey jamming to old school music. We really did have a lot of fun together!

Gary, I met you in 1999 at Compaq when we had not even one year old daughters, Heather & Carly. My memories are mostly of us occasionally talking about the kids and families at work events. Also, I got a peak at Carly’s room in middle school when Lori & you gave me a tour of renovations & I can still picture her little girl room in my head. Our daughters went to Cardinal Gibbons together & also Heather was at FSU for her Freshmen year along with Carly. I believe it was between their frosh & sophomore years at Cardinal Gibbons, I would drive Heather to Carly’s house to do their chem AP experiments that were required before the start of the next school year. When I picked Heather up each day, I recall her telling me how each experiment came so naturally to Carly & how amazingly smart she was and how Heather was so happy to be working with her. And move to a little more recently, a chance meeting in Key West and going boating with Gary & Lori & talking about our young adult children, Heather, Carly, Kyle, Dylan, Courtney as they make their way in this world. In the early days of our kids lives, from McNab to the many baseball fields, we were always together.   We were family through the bonds of baseball and created many lasting memories. I never got to know Carly super well but enjoyed watching her grow up only a few years behind me. I loved randomly getting DM's from her finding out she chose FSU, then AXO, then study abroad in Valencia and getting to share all of my favorite things about 3 of my favorite places on earth that she would soon get to experience herself. Even in the short interactions we had between our families over the years or our random convos about the best pasta options near the study center, I just remember she was always so so happy, bubbly, and genuinely the sweetest and kindest person. I remember thinking if we had lived closer growing up we might have been really good friends. Carly was the type of person that you just immediately knew was such a good human and you wanted to be around her infectious personality. 

You will be enormously missed, Carly. LITB.

From McNab Elementary to St Coleman to Cardinal Gibbons, Carly was always there. She was the one who was with and there for me when my grandma passed away. In that time, that’s when she convinced me to pick up a tennis racquet for the first time. She pushed me to be the best I could be. 
She had such a creative mind. There was never a time she didn’t want to do something active or productive. From wanting to bake to working on her next art project, she always went above and beyond for anything that came her way. 
Carly, we all love and miss you here. I hope you’re at ease now. Thanks for being such an amazing person all-around. You deserved better.

Carly made every room she walked into better. Her energy was magnetic and vibrant and she was also such a calming and comforting presence. I feel so incredibly lucky to have shared wonderful memories with her. She was always so genuinely kind and had a  free spirited humor and awareness that made connecting with her very special. She was an amazing friend that I looked up to because she always strived to be her best self but was also so content in the current moment. Carly was the brightest light in my life. I am so blessed to have been able to call her my friend, roommate, and sister. I’ll never forget our talks, or watching cheesy movies and laughing so hard that we cried. She was one of the greatest friends that I will ever have. Reading through everyone's memories of Carly there are words that are repeated over and over that echo who she was: radiant, bright, infectious, vibrant and more.  She was an absolute light and will be remembered for her laughter and sweet soul.

Carly had the ability to make anyone around her smile. We ate more gelato than you can imagine in Europe and I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Those are memories I will always cherish. To know Carly is to know love. Her vibrant energy was always so contagious - her presence lit up every room she walked into. Meeting Carly when we were just little girls at Indian Princess was just the beginning of so many fond memories we had together throughout the years. Our days running around at Circle F Dude Ranch & playing in the mud turned into running around College Avenue surrounded by our sorority sisters. From St. Coleman’s, to Cardinal Gibbons, to AXO, Carly’s infectious laugh never failed to put a smile on everyone’s faces. She will be so missed, and will continue to be loved by many. 🤍

I will never forget Carly’s contagious smile and her ability to light up a room. When I think of her I see sunshine. She made everyone around her feel welcomed and her bubbly giggly personality was infectious. I’ll never forget eating meals at the house with her and always joking about how we’d go back up to the line for seconds and thirds.  My thoughts and prayers are with her family and all of her loved ones❤️

No amount of words can begin to express how sorry I am.  Carly was such a wonderfully charismatic young lady who was always a delight to be around.  I am so sorry you’ve had to go through this, but I hope you can find some comfort in knowing that she knew how very much you loved her.  

When I think of Carly the first thing I see is her contagious smile that lit up every room. She never failed to make everyone around her crack a smile or a laugh and she made it so evident that she cared so deeply for everyone around her. If you were lucky enough to spend time with her,  you know there was never a dull moment, even if it was only a Monday afternoon sitting around on the brown couch between classes. Even though you’ll always be here with us, you’ll be missed so so dearly my girl. <3 

There was a gentle kindness and grace to Carly you couldn’t miss, she made you feel like you were truly important to her when you talked to her. She was such a light in our sorority house and I will forever remember her with a smile on her face, and putting a smile on others. There aren’t words for this heartbreak but Carly’s spirit will be here forever.

We thought we were invincible, but, God has Dominion over all things. May God make His Face shine upon us, as we make our lives afresh.

Carly was a light that would light up even the darkest room. I can’t even put into words how incredible she was. She was the sweetest, silliest, most amazing human. I love her so much and she will be missed so incredibly much. My heart goes out to her beautiful family and my prayers are with them. Although she may not be here physically with us on earth,  Carly’s spirit will bless us for eternity. She was a radiant person with so much love to give. Always smiling and always making sure everyone was okay. May she rest in peace. 

Carly is one of the sweetest and silliest girls I know. She truly lit up every room and always made me laugh. I loved eating lunch with her everyday at AXO and making memories up and down College Ave. She holds a special place in my heart and will be greatly missed. 

I first remember meeting Carly while rushing. Carly never failed to put a smile on my face. She never hesitated to make me feel welcomed. We spent hours talking on the brown couch between classes. I don’t have the right, or enough, words to convey the heartbreak. We will always miss you. 

When I picture Carly in my head, i can only picture her laughing and smiling. Because that’s how she always was, a positive person to be around growing up who was friends with absolutely everyone.  Prayers that she is at peace❤️

Carly was one of my favorite people to see at the sorority house. Whether it was waiting in line and laughing about something or her deciding to stay and sit with me at lunch/dinner, and even studying at the house, I always looked forward to seeing her.  After my car accident sophmore year, when I was left with no means of transportation, she always went out of her way to make sure I got a ride home, if I didn’t have one. I didn’t matter if she was driving or not she always offered. She also  made an effort to make people feel included, she invited me to her appartment before going out, clued me in on  plans, and always checked in. She was genuine, funny, but above all, she was kind and thoughtful. I will always be greatful for the kindness she showed me.  My thoughts are with her family. LITB

I have nothing but good memories with Carly. She was my absolute best friend growing up and I looked up to her so much. Here are some of the amazing memories I have with her:
We created a language together and had very serious quizzes to hold each other accountable while we learned it. We played on the playground during our brothers' baseball practices and made up crazy games. One time we decided to go in the baby swings and got stuck. We pulled an all-nighter and thought it was so cool. We swam in the pool while Fergie watched on the side. We tried to train Roxy to do cool tricks like Shawn Johnson from the Olympics. We did cheerleading and swimming and tennis. We were roommates for a whole week at tennis camp. We caught little jellys in the canal and played too much rock band. 
I love Carly so much and I miss her and her contagious laugh. I will forever cherish all the moments I shared with her❤

One of my favorite memories in college was going over to Carly, Taylore, and Alexa’s apartment. We would all sit on the couch and watch The Bachelor, Indian Matchmaking, or any reality show we could find. Carly’s commentary always made us laugh and she had the best sense of humor. She was an amazing friend and person to be around. She was such a great roommate to Taylore and Alexa and we all adored her so much.💗

I wasn’t very close with Carly, but she was my bump group leader during AXO rush my sophomore year before the pandemic hit. She was such a light, and I wouldn’t have survived recruitment that year without her. I’m so saddened by her passing and wish nothing but peace and love for her friends and family. LITB

Carly added sunshine to any day. Always smiling. I had the privilege of teaching Carly in middle school. What a wonderful student she was. Always wanting to learn more and help others. One of my favorite memories was when Carly was home from college, she would bring lunch to Lori on her birthday. Carly would sit with all us teachers and just light up the room. Their mother- daughter bond was very special. Rest In Peace beautiful Carly🙏🏼❤️  

Carly was one of the bubbliest, sweetest people I knew. We studied abroad together, she rushed me in AXO, she visited me in NJ, she even got me to start swimming again senior year. She will be so so missed. May she rest in peace. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family. 🙏🏼❤️

Carley was such an amazing friend and (sorority) sister! We became extra close her junior year my senior year! We went to every workout class together are favorite one Being kickboxing which she some how convinced me to go to twice a week! As well as F45, Pilates and yoga !! She was such a great friend that always knew how to put a smile on my face and make me laugh out loud! Praying for your family during this difficult time❤️ 

I first met Carly when she was in high school, she was SUNSHINE  in a little body!  So cute! I would love to hear her fun stories and what was going on in her life. I would ask her”how did your hair get soo light!” She would say I just love the ocean and I am in it almost everyday, so it just happens”I use to do her hair and I looked forward to hear all about the special moments in her life. Her mom even sent me her graduation pics from College. I was proud of her as well.  I was heart broken 💔to heart this news!! She truly loved her life and her family. She had a great relationship with her mom and knew she was loved and lucky to have her. Lori and I would share our  funny mother daughter stories and I loved hearing them.
