James was born on Sunday, October 16, 1949 in Fort Frances, Ontario and spent all of his life in the district. He had worked at the local mill for over 25 years until he retired at the age of 55. He enjoyed watching TV and was a dedicated Toronto Maple Leaf and Nascar fan. He was also an avid Muskie fan and had played for the Muskies in his younger days. He also enjoyed taking a drive and going to the Casino. He had a great love for his cats and dogs and was a good friend to many. Most of all, he loved his family.
Left to cherish his memory is his son Robert (Kelley) Perreault of Florida and his granddaughter Avery Perreault. Also surviving are his sisters Janice Carmody (Bill Williams) and Jocelyn Johnson as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, James and Janet Perreault Sr., his brother Merle Perreault, sister Jean Archie, nephew Dennis Perreault, brother-in-law Bill Carmody as well as other family members.
Funeral services were held on Friday, January 3, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at Green Funeral Home in Fort Frances with Father Victor DeGagne officiating..
The honourary pallbearers were all of his family, friends and co-workers.
