I'm so sorry to hear of this. I've known Bill for about 20 years. We worked together many times over those years. I consider him to be one of the best mentors I had coming up in the video engineering business. He was always willing to share his knowledge on the job.

Later on, I worked with him less often, but he always seemed to be able to make time when I called him to help me solve a technical or equipment issue I was having. I don't recall any occasion when he couldn't solve the problem, or at least point me in the right direction to figure it out myself.

In fact, the last time I called him for help, all he had to do was answer the phone and within a minute the equipment started working. I joked with him that the gear was afraid of him, he knew so much about it. All anyone would need to do was give him a call and voila! - problem solved.

Bill's stories about the business and his experiences over the years were always enlightening and informative. He was always great to work for and with and was an excellent teacher. I know he'll be greatly missed by many of us.

i worked  with Bill back in his EFP Production days. Sometimes I would go to his house and help him work on  his one of his 4 Triumph TR3s. I also enjoyed hearing his mom yell at him for having those old cars around the house. Bill was a great guy and even better friend. To Mary and everyone who knew him I'm sorry for our loss. There will never be another like him.

My heart is heavy sharing your grief in the lost of a mentor and friend.  May our cherished memories of Bill be a blessing we share.

I worked many events with Bill at the Hilton over the past 20 years and enjoyed every single one of them. His professionalism, good nature and skill as a engineer always put me at ease no matter the challenges. If you were in need of some obscure video connector Bill would take you out to his PT Cruiser open the back door and pull out just what you needed to save the show. Nobody enjoyed my impression of his deep baritone more than Bill. I can still hear him saying "Tim, you could call my wife and she would think it's me on the phone!" Going to miss that guy.

I worked with Bill for many years doing corporate meetings. Bill was a gentleman and always gave you a warm greeting of,  "Hello there". When I saw Bill at the tech table, I knew we were in the best of hands.
