her daugther gennavey was one of the most gorgous and smartest in the class. i think if her mother was here with her she would be so proud of her. 

Rosie was a beautiful person with a big heart. May she rest peacefully and her family find solace knowing she is safe in Gods hands. ❤️ 

I remember the day I met you. It really was by coincidence. I had just started at a new school you weren’t even there that day. Someone took me to your house she introduced us and we hung out everyday after. You said let’s tell everyone your my cousin. And I became your cousin. I practically lived at your house. Most of the time it was just the 2 of us in the pink room or in your room. Or just getting into something. I remember going with you to your dads house for the weekends. And getting sent to the principals office with you. I remember for weeks we went to the library for the same period everyday. We went around pulling people out of class with a swiped hall pass. I can’t believe it took so long to get caught. I remember making a teacher send me to the office too so you wouldn’t be alone when 9-11 happened. You gave me my first nickname “Chicky”, and would write it in big letters on my hand in permanent marker.  I have so many memories so little space. My favorite was being goofy and singing to each other in your room. I wish I had been there for you in these recent times. I have a heart full of regrets for us losing touch. I am sad for you, for your beautiful baby girls, your huge hearted mom who would let me be at your house so I didn’t have to go home, for your brother who I was terrified of back then but learned he was pretty awesome. I will always love you girl and I will remember all the crazy wonderful memories I had with you. I hope you have peace my friend.

 I miss our times together. You've always been a special aunt, as special as can be. I am glad you are in a better place now. You made rooms bright with your great personality. Your art meant a lot, it's amazing how you made a piece of paper into something wonderful and special. I wish I could hug you and feel your warmth. Many people will miss you and your amazing persona.

Your laugh was loud. Your lips were very textured and round. You had very nice shiny smooth skin. I liked the way light would reflect off your forehead because of how smooth it was. You had thin clean eyebrows. Your nails were long and strong. Your nose looked cute when you scrunched your face up. I liked how one of your front teeth was two different colors because of the time the tooth broke and you had to have it refilled. I liked the bump you had on top of your chest. You were really pretty, very beautiful person. Your smile was contagious. You were you and everything else doesn’t count. I only remember you. I remember you singing to me and the pictures you’d draw for me. Even though the tattoo of my and my sisters initials won’t be shown the last time we see each other, I’ll always know it’s there. I know that on that day it’ll be the last time I see you physically, and I’m so scared. But I know I’ll see you again someday, I hope I do.

Mommy, Rosie. You made me, you named me. Thank you for giving me life. You never knew or realized it but you taught me a lot and because of you I am as mature and as observant as I am now. You were a magnet, seriously as your daughter I didn’t understand it but as soon as I got to know you as a person I did. You were very funny, very open minded, and very confident. We talked everyday for about two months before you passed and I am so grateful for that. Even though I knew you couldn’t do anything to me from jail, I picked up the phone. I always thought you were immortal, I still cannot believe this because you weren’t supposed to die. I forgave you as a mother a long time ago even though I never made it clear.  All I can do now is hope that you’re okay, and that you are being treated well. I hope you’re happy and I hope you still think about me. We got close towards the end. You gave me a friend in a person I never expected it from. I know you loved me, I do. I know you tried and I am grateful. I love you. 

Rosie, quiero que sepas dónde quiera que te encuentres que te agradesco por aceptarme como parte de tu familia. Cuando yo conocí a tu mamá y desidimos estar juntos me sentí tan dichoso de tener una familia. Yo de verdad te llegue a querer como mi propia hija. Todavía me recuerdo de los buenos momentos que pasábamos en familia. Te prometo que siempre protejeremos a tus hijas, y nunca les faltará amor de parte de tu mamá y yo. My mom was always happy.  She was never in a bad mood. My mom had fun and she would never say no to a party. Her laughter would make everyone go into a happy mood. My mom never let anything get to her or change her mood and day. She always tried her best to make us happy, and she would always make the most of us having fun. Every memory we had were always a happy and heart-warming time. I love and miss her so much. "Gone from our sight, But not from our hearts" 

Baby Girl  Rosie I remember all the 34 beautiful years we spent as a family. I miss you, and feel lonely in this world with out you. I know you are eternally in the presence of God. I will always pray for you until we meet again. Rosie I will always have you in my heart. Rosie rest in peace, and we will guide your 3 daughters in the journey of life.

You were always a true friend Rosie. I could always count on you to be there for me. You will always have a special place in my heart. 

Gerardo and I will miss you always, we will always have you in our hearts.  Gerardo was a real father to her. When she was younger we both went at late hours off night trying to find her. He never let me go by myself, and made sure we brought her home .  Gerardo, was the man the father like figure you never had, he taught you to drive, took you to work at 7 pm and picked you up at 3 am. If someone deserves credit is Gerardo your step dad who always made sure you were good. I seen him cry for you not being with us anymore and it hurts us, but we know your in a better place with no pain no suffering. We love you with all our hearts till we meet again. Love from us Gerardo and me your mom. 


One of the last pictures we took at my nephew's graduation. You were happy with your family, and knew we all loved you. 

i always prayed to god for you to get better and come home but i guess he had other plans for you. i know you’re not in pain or struggling anymore. you’ve always been my best friend and we both knew that. you and i always knew we had each other and you told me that. you were always so hyper and full of life. you were such an artist and so talented. i know we all wished you knew how much u were loved. i love you and i always made sure you knew that. rest in peace mama i love you always and forever❤️. 

When we were little, I used to love going to visit abuelita's  house because the family would gather and I'd get to play with you and your brother. We used to go outside and ride the big wheels together.
