Edward Allen Robinson

Edward Allen Robinson, age 59, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 28, 2024, with his loving family by his bedside. He was born January 8, 1965, to his beloved parents Charlaine Robinson Kohn and the late William Stafford Robinson. He was the loving stepson of Harold Kohn who recently preceded him in death.

Left behind to cherish his memory are his loving family. He was a proud and devoted father of William Edward Robinson, Hollie Robinson, Keilen, Alek, and Steffan Demetropoulos, and Felicia Plewa. He was an extremely proud grandfather of eight cherished grandchildren.

He was the loving stepbrother of Samuel Kohn, Theresa Stewart, and Kathleen Kohn. Dear uncle of Steven Kohn. Nephew of Edna Cooper Govia and Curtis Cooper. Dear cousin of Cheryl McNeal and Edward Cropper.

Edward left behind three beloved and significant partners in his journey through life. Angela Robinson, Terri Robinson, and Rubina Robinson Morello. He will be dearly missed by many other relatives, colleagues, and a host of friends.

Edward grew up in Chicago and Oak Park, Illinois. As a young man he professionally raced cars and motorcycles. He pursued his entrepreneurial spirit and became the owner - chauffeur of Cruise'n Limousine Services, Northside Choppers, and Anarchy Racing. He built and customized motorcycles, monster trucks, and race cars. As an independent owner of a private transportation company, he provided an alternative to commercial taxi services.

A Celebration of his life will be held Tuesday, December 17, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 7750 West Cermak Road, Forest Park, IL. Interment in Woodlawn Cemetery will take place privately. For more information, please call (708) 442-8500.
