Dorothy Marker (née Sluka), 100, of Riverside died on September 28, 2024.
Her roots were in Berwyn and she moved to Riverside in 1959. She was a medical transcriptionist at the University of Illinois Hospital in Chicago. An avid traveler, she traveled extensively throughout Europe and Asia, including several times by ocean liner.
She was the wife of the late Earl E. Marker. She was the mother of Christine Marker, Mark Marker, James Marker (Cecilia) and Amy Marker (Brian), the grandmother of four and the great grandmother of one.
