Michael Epstein

Michael Epstein was born October 9, 1939 and died November 27, 2023. Michael is survived by his beloved wife, Roz. They were married for almost 60 years. They have three devoted children: Lauren, Beth and Jonathon and also son in law Jon. He adored by his 2 grandsons, Joshua and Adam Tabak.

Michael is also survived by his brother Barry Epstein, sister Vicki Epstein and brother in law and sister in law Stephen and Phyllis Lowe, as well as several nieces and nephews.

They lived in Merrick, NY for over 55 years and most recently reside in Boynton Beach, Florida.

Michael’s number one priority was taking care of his family. Being a stockbroker was not only his job, but his passion even long after retirement. His hobbies were cars, barbecuing, and listening to Frank Sinatra. He always enjoyed good food whether in a fancy restaurant or at home.

Michael and Roz were very charitable with their time and money. They are Hadassah Founders and Keepers of the Gate. Michael also served as House and Properties chair at Congregation Ohav Shalom in Merrick, NY.

In Boynton Beach , he was active in the veterans club.

Michael was a kind and funny man, who loved life and will be missed by all!

A funeral service officiated by Rabbi Debra Bennet for Michael will be held Friday, December 1, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at Schwartz Brothers-Jeffer Memorial Chapels, 114-03 Queens Blvd, Forest Hills, NY 11375. Following the funeral service will be a committal service from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at Mount Lebanon Cemetery, 7800 Myrtle Avenue, Glendale, NY 11385.
