Gerasimos "Jerry" Kanakis, age 48, of Queens, New York passed away on Friday, May 19, 2023.

Beloved husband of Christina Kanakis. Loving father of Andreas Kanakis. Cherished son of Andreas and Adamantia Kanakis. Gerasimos is survived by his sister Stavroula Orkulas and her family. Dear uncle of Artemis Orkulas. Devoted son in law to Nick Bogdos. Gerasimos is survived by his his bother -in-law Philip Bogdos, his wife Alexandra and their children Nicholas and Julianna Bogdos.

The family of Gerasimos will be receiving visitors at Frederick Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Thursday May 25, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Frederick Funeral Home,192-15 Northern Boulevard, Flushing, NY 11358. Funeral Liturgy to be celebrated Friday, May 26, 2023 at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church. Interment Maple Grove Cemetery, 127-15 Kew Gardens Road, Kew Gardens, New York 11415.
