Richard was born on November 28, 1967, in Flint, Michigan to the late Harold and Carolyn (Hect) Draheim. Richard loved riding horses with his children. He also enjoyed mowing his lawn and having it look well-trimmed. Richard was an excellent mechanic and was a truck driver for some time. Above everything, he was a very devoted father and uncle. Richard was a loving husband, father, and brother will be deeply missed by his loving family and friends.
Richard leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of thirty-two years, Samantha "Mandy"; children Nickolas (fiancée Kayla) Draheim, Corey (Maria) Draheim, Ashley Draheim and Shelby (fiancée
Emmet) Draheim; grandson Jax Draheim; siblings Scott Draheim, Sherry (Jeff) Morris, Debbie JaFolla; nieces and nephews Autumn, Kyle, and Jeremy JaFolla and Megan Morris along with several other nieces and nephews; and many loving family members.
Richard was preceded in death by son Cody Draheim; his parents Harold and Carolyn Draheim; brother in law Gary JaFolla and several loved ones.
A visitation for Rick will be held Thursday, April 18, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a rosary service at 7:00 PM at Reigle Funeral Home - 5501 W. Pierson Road, Flushing, Michigan. A funeral mass will be on Friday, April 19, 2024 at 11am with a one hour visitation prior at 10am at St Robert Catholic Church - 310 N Cherry St, Flushing, Michigan. Rick will be laid to rest at Flushing Cemetery following the service.
Memorial contributions in Rick's honor may be made to The American Cancer Society or the American SIDS Institute.
