Marjorie was born on February 6, 1929, in Flint, Michigan to the late George and Gertrude (Dumonthier) Boggs. She loved to bake, and was very good at it as well. Marjorie enjoyed tending to her flower garden, in addition to watching wildlife. Marjorie's grandkids and entire family was her pride and joy. She was a kind lady, who never spoke a harsh word. Her faith was very important to her, and she was a devout Catholic who attended mass every week. Christmas was a very special time in their home. Her family fondly remembers Marjorie along with her late husband, Beverley, baking candies and cookies all week in order for the family to enjoy them on Christmas Eve. Marjorie was a loving mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Marjorie leaves to cherish her memory her children: Melissa, Ricky (Charlene) and Mary Ann (Jeff); grandchildren: Ron (Joni), Amy (Ryan), Amanda (Jim), Steven, Kyle (Sarah), David (fiancée Alissa), Daniel (Hannah), Thomas, Hannah, Abigail, Sarah and Zoe; great-grandchildren: Gracelyn (Dalton), Carson, Nathan, Vivian, Evelyn, Violet, Nora, Chloe, Emma, Ava and Julia; and great-great grandchildren: Everleigh, Layne and Eleanor.
Marjorie was preceded in death by her beloved husband Beverley and great-granddaughter Amelia.
In honor of Marjorie, memorial contributions may be made to St. Robert Bellarmine Church.
A visitation for Marjorie will be held on Monday, October 28, 2024, from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at Reigle Funeral Home - 5501 W. Pierson Road, Flushing, Michigan with a Rosary Service at 7:00PM. A funeral mass for Marjorie will be held on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, at 11:00AM at St. Robert Bellarmine Church - 310 N. Cherry Street, Flushing, Michigan, with visitation one hour prior. Marjorie will be laid to rest at New Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Flint, Michigan.
