James (Jim) Robert Reed

James (Jim) Robert Reed, age 77, of Flint, Michigan passed away on Sunday, November 17, 2024. James was born on February 15,1947, in Flint, Michigan to the late Ambrose and Ilene Reed. Affectionately known as Jim, he was known for his passion for the outdoors. At a young age Jim was an avid fisherman, hunter and race car driver. Everyone knew that Jim loved his Harley "Fat Boy", from age 50 and beyond. Jim went on numerous trips and rides with family and friends. Jim loved his family very much and he enjoyed spending time with them at the cabin "Mohawk Hill". Sharing time with friends and family was very important to Jim. He was loved by so many and he will be missed dearly.

Jim leaves to cherish his memory wife; Debra Reed of 57 years, daughter; Barbara (Gary) Franzel, sons; James R. Reed ll and Timothy S. Reed, granddaughters; Amanda, Amy, Alexis, Brit and Kay-Kay, grandson; Johnny, great-grandchildren; Laila, Aliah, Azailiah, Mya, Kingston, Kasen and Kane, sisters; Sharon, Vickie and Velora, brother; Edward Reed and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother; Fred Williams, sister; Beatrice, sister-in-laws; Joyce Reed and Brenda H., grandson; Stephan Robert.

A funeral visitation for James will be held Friday, November 22, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Reigle Funeral Home, 5501 W. Pierson Road, Flushing, Michigan 48433, followed by a funeral sharing with family and friends at 3:00 PM.
