Frances Carol Laster

Frances Carol Laster, age 75, of Flint, Michigan passed away on Friday, January 5, 2024. Frances was born on January 27,1948 to the late Winston and Juanita Laster. She grew up in Flint , Michigan and graduated from Southwestern Academy and she also attended the University of Michigan- Flint , graduating with a degree in Criminal Justice. Frances was a caring and loving person, she loved attending church services at South Flint Tabernacle. Frances loved helping people,she volunteered with CASA and the Juvenile Probation Department, she was an advocate for troubled youth and those in need. In her spare time she loved watching crime shows, reading and spending time playing with her grandchildren. Frances also loved animals and spending time with her cat Zoe. Frances was loved very much and she will be missed dearly.Frances leaves to cherish her memory, daughter; Kelly ( Richard) Buning,grandchildren; Brodye Buning, Kaleb Buning and Chloe Buning and many relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by: her daughter; kimberly Ann Rowell and parents ; Winston and Juanita Laster.

A celebration of life service will be held for Frances at a later date and time. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Genesee County Humane Society in honor of Frances name.
