Tulio R. Serrata, age 80, of Palm Coast, Florida, passed away on February 5, 2024, at AdventHealth Palm Coast Parkway Hospital. He was born on January 13, 1944, in the Dominican Republic to the late Erasmo and Elena Serrata. In 1966, he married the love of his life, Hilda Margarita Polanco. Together, they embarked on a journey in pursuit of better opportunities, immigrating to the United States in 1967 and settling in Ridgewood, New York. It was there that they nurtured their family of four children.
Tulio dedicated over 38 years of his life to working as a Porter for the United Nations before retiring. He and Hilda then relocated to the sunny shores of Palm Coast, Florida, to embrace their well-deserved retirement years.
A man of simple pleasures, Tulio found joy in the simple moments of life. He cherished watching baseball games, engaging in lively games of dominoes, and attending family gatherings where laughter and love filled the air.
Tulio will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by his beloved wife, Hilda; his children, Josie and her husband Carlos Muniz, Tulio Jr. and his wife Maribel Serrata, Yesenia Serrata, Lourdes and her husband Lorenzo Espinal; his grandchildren, Jonathan Muniz, Kieran Serrata, Jason Muniz, Lailah Espinal, Leiander Espinal, Landyn Espinal; his great-granddaughter, Ariella Muniz as well as numerous siblings, relatives, and friends.
In honoring Tulio's memory, may we find solace in the cherished moments shared and the love that will forever remain in our hearts.
