The eldest of four sisters, Marge was born in New York City on 9 October 1928 to Harry Ramsey and the former Julia Savage. She graduated from Beacon High School in 1947 and in June of 1951 married her high school sweetheart and class of ’47 classmate William “Judge” Dolson. Marge worked as a receptionist in the Beacon, NY, medical offices of Dr. Kaplan and Dr. Mund, which came in handy while raising three active, energetic and accident-prone boys. She loved old movies, especially musicals, Broadway shows and orchestral performances and was able to see quite a few of them as a volunteer usher at Peabody Auditorium in Daytona Beach, where she and Judge relocated after their boys were grown. Marge and Judge moved from Daytona to Halifax Plantation in Ormond Beach, a golfing community, settling comfortably into a quieter, more peaceful environment and lifestyle. Marge was a member of Santa Maria Catholic Church in Flagler Beach.
Marge was preceded in death by her husband Judge, her eldest son William, middle son Robert, and sisters Charlotte Goeres, Julia VanTassel and Dorothy Colonna. She is survived by her son Paul and his wife Polly, daughter-in-law Terry Maahs, grandson Erik Dolson , his wife Hollie and their children Skylar and Hunter, granddaughter Kelly Touponse and grandsons Tyler and Jesse Dolson.
Marge is now finally and forever reunited with her beloved Judge and sons William and Robert. She will be interred next to Judge at Craig Flagler Palms Cemetery following a Catholic Rite of Committal.
The high school sweethearts are together again at last.
