Helen Minnix Byers, 87, of Flagler Beach, passed away peacefully on April 13, 2023 at her home with her daughter by her side. Helen was born May 23, 1935 in Greenville, Georgia to Tommie Alvin and Annie Mae Minnix. Helen came from a very large family, being the sixth child of seven. She grew up and lived in the Atlanta area, moving down to Flagler Beach in just the past couple of years. Helen was a very loving and nurturing woman who loved spending time with her family.
Helen is predeceased by her husband of 67 years, Gerry Byers, her son, Tim Byers, and her youngest son, Tracy Byers.
Helen is survived by her daughter, Terry Louise Byers, her daughters-in-law, Jennifer Byers and Rhonda McKruit, her grandson, Jacob Byers, her granddaughter, Karissa Byers, her brother, Harold (Judy) Minnix, numerous nieces and nephews, and many other family and friends who loved her dearly.
Helen will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
