Debbie Blankenship, 64, of Palm Coast, FL passed away at her home surrounded by her family on June 1, 2022. She was born on September 28, 1957 in Inglewood, California to the late Ralph & Margaret Longshore. After high school Debbie earned an associate’s degree in computer sciences and then spent the next 33 years at CSX Railroad. She started in an entry level position, her tenacity to learn and grow quickly brought her up to the position as Senior Computer Systems Analyst. After her retirement she was able to spend time and develop her artistic abilities. Debbie enjoyed baking, painting and drawing especially her favorite Disney Character “Jiminy Cricket.” She will always be remembered for her warm and compassionate heart. Survivors include her beloved husband, Danny; daughter, Stephanie and her husband Mark Duatschek; beloved grandson, Luke Duatshek; mother-in-law, Charlene Blankenship; sister-in-law, Kathy Graham; cousin, Susan Duncan and many more loving relatives and wonderful friends. Donations in her memory may be to Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Association.
A visitation for Debbie will be held Monday, June 6, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Craig Flagler Palms Funeral Home, 511 Old Kings Road South, Flagler Beach, Florida 32136. A visitation will occur Monday, June 6, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, 511 Old Kings Road South, Flagler Beach, Florida 32136. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at 11:00 AM, 511 Old Kings Road South, Flagler Beach, Florida 32136.
