It was incredible honor to help take care in Mrs. Blankenship'.  Her smile was infectious and her will was courageous.  She was such an inspiration to me and I am a better person and doctor for knowing her.

I was blessed to know Mrs. Blankenship for a short period of her life journey.  Her infectious smile and her grace are something I will never forget.  The relationship between Mr. and Mrs. Blankenship was so beautiful to witness.  The love they showed for one another comes once in a lifetime.  I am forever grateful to Mrs. Blankenship for trusting me with being a part of her care team.  


I met Debbie at CSX. We were both fortunate to have been selected into their Computer Programming Trainee position and thereafter we both shared a double cubicle until I resigned. Debbie was such a kind, intelligent, detailed and dedicated person. She had a quiet disposition; but, she always had a big smile. She loved and spoke daily of her husband Danny and her daughter Stephanie.  It was apparent they were a close and loving family.  Although we were no longer working together, we kept in touch yearly through our Christmas card exchange. She would bring me up to date on her family and I would do the same. The last three years, her cards turned into letters as there was more to say.  For sure, I will remember Debbie, especially during the Christmas season when I would expect to hear from her.

I had the pleasure of knowing and caring for Mrs. Blankenship since February 2017.   She was a joy through and through.  It was a honor to have helped in her care and provide support to her amazing husband Danny.  She will never be forgotten in my heart.

You will be dearly missed as much as you were and still are dearly loved. I will forever be thankful for all of the fond memories I have of you.

Debbie and I worked together on the same team at CSX Technology from 2002 thru her retirement. It was an extremely pleasant experience. She was a warm person always ready to share her knowledge and credit from the good work performed. I was in Jacksonville office and  most of the interactions happened over phone and email but the grace and poise with which she handled the interactions were unmistakable. She was always ready to help  and provide guidance at work. Debbie will be missed dearly

Our thoughts and prayers are with Danny and the family.   Debbie and Danny took over the roll of great next door neighbors and friends after the passing of her parents.  We will always remember Debbie for her kindness to our grandkids, Eva and Cole.    Eva especially loved that Debbie shared her love of arts and crafts with her.  RIP Debbie
