She was born March 14, 1946 in Perth Amboy, New Jersey a daughter of James and Eleanor Egan Sieczkowski.
Mrs. Blaszka graduated from Middlesex Vocational High School, and began her career as a hair dresser. In 1981 she and her husband moved their family to Milford, MA. In 2006, they moved to Palm Coast. She worked at the Island Walk Publix for over 16 years, just recently retiring. She loved playing bingo, knitting, crocheting, going out with her friends for Saturday night dinner. She also enjoyed going on cruises, and traveling.
She leaves her daughter, Jaimi Blaszka of Palm Coast, and her two granddaughters, Kayleigh and Alyssa.
Besides her parents, she was proceeded in death by her first husband, James “Jimmy” Owens, her second husband of 42 years, Joseph “Joe” Blaszka, and a daughter Bonnie Jo Blaszka.
Family and friends will be received Saturday, March 4th from 10:00 – 12:00 PM at Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home, where services will be held at 12:00 PM.
