She was born March 18th, 1932 to the late John Morgan Wimmer and Allie Gay Stump Wimmer.
Sarah was a homemaker and in her free time, she enjoyed making rag rugs and afghans, crocheting and making tomato jam and pickles. Sarah also loved serving the Lord.
In addition to her parents, Sarah was preceded in death by her husband George S. Ratliff; a daughter, Brenda Gail Ratliff; a sister Delle Arrington; and a brother John Morgan Wimmer.
Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Michael George (Jane) of Fayetteville and Paul Edward of Fayetteville; daughters, Sheila Gaye Dickerson (Charles) of Fayetteville and Sandra Kay Poore (Meikel); a brother, Thomas Wimmer (Vickie); two sisters, Freda Abrams (Joe) and Karen Veltoven; also surviving are several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, along with numerous nieces, nephews and close friends.
Funeral services for Sarah will be Friday, July 19th, 2019, 2PM at the Odd Fellow Cemetery in Oak Hill.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial can be made to the Salvation Army in her memory.
