She was born on June 16, 1931 in Dry Fork, Virginia to Daisy Beavers Young and Kenneth Ray Young. Ms. Denoff was a proud resident of Lansing, West Virginia for many years. She was married to Frank Denoff on August 16, 1947 in Pikeville, Kentucky.
Miss June, as she was affectionately known to her friends and family, was very outgoing and loved teaching others about her Lord and Savior. She served at Ames Heights Bible Church as the Youth Sunday School teacher and as an Adult Bible Study Leader. Spending time with her family and many grandchildren was her favorite thing to do.
She was preceded in death by her two sons.
She is survived by her loving husband, Frankie; two younger brothers, Donald (Marion) Young, Sr. of Rhode Island and Arvel Young of South Carolina; her two daughters, Sandra (Marshall) Pennington of King, North Carolina and Kim Stultz of Tobaccoville, North Carolina; six grandchildren, Scott (Treva), Rachel (Chris), Daniel, Aaron (Jamie), Zachary (Autumn) and Jacob; 11 great-grandchildren and seven great- great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at Ames Heights Bible Church 82 Ames Church Road, Ames Heights, WV with a funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Huse Memorial Park, Fayetteville, WV.
