Rodney Jack Anderson

Rodney J. Anderson, 58 of Sterling, Virginia, died October 13, 2022. He was born November 30, 1963, in Alexandria Virginia, to Carolyn R Neeb and Thomas F. Anderson. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Rita J. (Proffitt) Anderson and daughter, Savanna Anderson, both of Sterling, Virginia, His mother; Carolyn R. (Neeb) Chabo, Falls Church, Virginia, Two brothers; Raymond (Peggy) Anderson, Berlin, MD, Jason (Erika) Anderson, Sydney, Australia, Three sisters; Brigitte (Steve) Burke, Springfield, VA, Heather (Monty) Lowe Fairfax, VA, Juliet (John) Helm, Sydney, Australia, a host of nieces, nephews and special friends. Rod was predeceased in death by his father, Thomas F. Anderson and his step-father, Johnny Chabo.

Rod was known for his love of the outdoors, he loved gardening, fishing, scuba diving and traveling. In his memory, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Marine Conservation Institute (https://marine-conservation.org/ways-to-give) and National Wildlife Federation,

A celebration of life will be held on November 12, 2022 at Murphy’s Funeral Home located at 1102 West Broad Street, Falls Church, Virginia 22046 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
