Michael Scott Winstead

His love of theater and just shy of his degree from George Mason University; he loved the arts, also had a passion for antiques, and a thriving business. Predeceased by his brother, MSgt. Mark Winstead, he leaves behind his mother Molly Davis; step dad Harlis Davis; grandmother Lydia Gorman; niece Ashley Winstead; nephew Dylan Winstead, and their mom Lori. Aunts and uncles Velma and Frank Stevens (GA), Patrick and Paula Gorman, Jim and Toni Gorman, Jeanette and Brian Sullivan, Lisa and Nathan Gumaer, Lisa and Joe Weth, and so many heartbroken cousins and extended families. Heartfelt thanks to Ashley Winstead who helped plan this sad day for uncle Michael, and special thanks to uncle Pat (Michael’s godfather), and aunt Lori Strong, Nana, and Paula, Amy Franco, and Dan and Christine Gorman for their help – without it, Mom wouldn’t have been able to get through this – and everyone who loved him and will miss him. A visitation will be held Friday, May 19th from 4-8pm at National Funeral Home in Falls Church, VA (703-560-4400). He will be buried alongside his brother Mark on Saturday, May 20th at 12:00pm at National Memorial Park in Falls Church, VA (703-560-4400).
