Tom was a great guy who would always look out for others with his heart and soul.  He was the type of person who would always help, even if he had a lot going on.  Tom would always try to make you laugh, in the good times and the bad.  My heart goes out to Tom, his family, and friends.  Thank you for being my friend and for all you did Tom.  You are and will always be missed Monkee.  I pray to one day meet again.

I always believe this world is mostly good …. Tom you proved that beyond any words that I could share with anyone.  My mom always told me the good die young… she is right however at the same time … some of us good folks are left to share your legacy with others… I can’t explain  what makes me still have a purpose here and why you were called home so  soon… Thank you for touching my & Ernesto’s heart and my twins with your goodness. I promise that I will share your goodness with the world the best way I can while I still have my time here.  Kindness is what I took away with my friendship with you. Thank you for being my friend. You always wanted to give me my 1st tattoo… we talked about it so much (lol) I just wasn’t ready… you will though…  I will save that for you… in heaven. I love you & will miss you so much. Tom, you were a great man and I am grateful that you were my friend.  I am so sorry that I could not be there to say our last goodbye but my thoughts and prayers are with your family and hoping that they could find comfort during this time. I will forever remember all the memories that we've shared and will bring them with me until we meet again.

You radiated boundless love towards the entire world. I am grateful to have had you as a friend I had known for 25 years. Thankful for the precious moments spent together and you were able to meet and know Idris. My prayers go out to your family and those who knew you and loved you, especially your mom. I am sorry we weren't able to visit again after covid but am happy you are no longer suffering. I regret not being able to come to your service being out of the country but I felt your spirit from here and trust I was meditating for you and your soul. Rest in perfect peace anh Cuong, aka Tom. I am so sorry for your recent loss. I only met Mai (Espinosa) a few weeks ago, but she has impressed me with they way she cares about her family . It was great to see how dedicate she was to make Mom's home better for all! I hope you find a way to support each other and grow closer in your time of need. Tom you’re my brother my childhood/best friend, it’s so hard for me to write this, I can’t even describe in words how much I miss you already…that laugh of yours, I can’t get it out of my mind. You are a special human being, if only this world had more people like you I’m sure it would be a much better place. I wish we could have created more memories together. I will never forget the celebrations we had for September 2nd, the day you graced this earth and August 14, 2021, the day you ascended to heaven. We will always celebrate your birthday forever. Tom you were blessed with a special ability to make anyone feel like they were the most important person in the room. Your presence and energy was felt even if you sat in the corner of the room. I don’t have many people I can call a friend (I don’t use that title loosely). I can count my friends on both hands and not even use all my fingers. I’ll always cherish the memory of you eating different soft serve ice cream in Thailand and me asking why. You said because they taste different and I looked at you and said soft serve is soft serve. Then ever chance we got, we tried different soft serve and you were right, they all taste different. Now I’m a soft serve ice cream pro:-) You’ll always be with me and I’ll never allow your Spirit to fade. I love you, my Friend & Brother.

Tom has always been like an uncle to me, he has been my moms best friend since they were kids in Springfield. He always made me laugh and we have so many memories together from my 6 year old birthday party to traveling to Thailand together. I will always cherish these memories.  Every time I see papaya salad or durian I’ll think of you! Love you.
