Brenda Sue Lambert, 63, of Wilmington, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on April 24, 2021 Brenda was born on January 25, 1958, in Wilson, North Carolina, to Cedric and Claudette Holloman. Brenda grew up in Falls Church, Virginia, and attended George C. Marshall High School until her senior year, when she relocated and graduated from Fauquier High School in 1976.
While living in Pimmit Hills in Falls Church she began her friendship with Robert Lambert at 14, became high school sweet hearts, and later married in August of 1986. Robert and Brenda went on to raise their family for 30 years in Chantilly, Virginia.
Brenda was a strong independent woman that worked hard caring for her family. As her boys grew older, she also worked as an office manager for 17 years at a Commercial Fire Protection Company. In retirement, she moved to Wilmington, North Carolina to pursue her love of the sun and beach.
Brenda always lived life to the fullest and challenged those around her to do the same. Brenda was passionate about supporting her sons and their sports, staying active, fit, and out in the sun. She loved working in the garden, Jazzercize with the girls, long walks with her dog, searching for seashells in the sand and walking the loop at Wrightsville Beach. When she was not supporting her boys in their activities, you could find her and Robert on their motorcycles visiting wineries in Virginia and North Carolina with friends and family.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Robert Lambert of Wilmington, North Carolina; Son, Shawn Turner and fiancé Lydia Elder; Son, Scott Lambert and Wife Jennifer Lambert; Grandchildren, Kylie Jarmon, Lucas Lambert, Dylan Lambert; Father, Cedric (Janie) Holloman; Mother, Claudette Holloman; Brother, George (Bonnie) Holloman; Brother, Stevie (Sandy) Holloman; Many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, and Nephews. She was preceded in death by her Brother, Ricky Holloman.
The Celebration of Life, will take place on May 7, 2021 at 3pm – 6pm at National Funeral Home, 7482 Lee Highway Falls Church, Virginia 22042. This will be a time of reflection for guests their memories. Attire will be business casual.
The funeral service and burial will take place on May 8, 2021 at 2:00 pm at National Memorial Park, 7482 Lee Highway Falls Church, Virginia 22042. A webcast of the Funeral Service will be available for those unable to attend via our " Join LiveStream" under the Services section below.
