Born in Fall River, a son of the late Evelyn (Pelland) Martin, he was a life-long resident of the city.
Tom served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and worked as a driver for the City of Fall River for twenty years retiring in 2008.
Survivors include: four children, Tara Crowley and her husband Michael of Fall River, Evelyn Berlinsky and her husband Raymond of Providence, Philip Pelland of Fall River and Tommy Pelland and his wife Robin also of Fall River; four grandchildren, Benjamin and Hunter Berlinsky, Andrew Touch and Brianna Crowley; a stepdaughter, Heather Hutchins; a sister, Claudette Perry and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Norman Pelland, Barbara Alix, Doris Funderberk, Annette Boyle, Susan Hilton and John Pelland
His funeral and burial will be private.
Arrangements are in the care of Waring-Sullivan Home at Cherry Place, Fall River.
