Susan J. Langellier

Born in Fall River, a daughter of the late Joseph and Theresa (Macomber) Golden, she was a lifelong resident of the city and a graduate of B.M.C. Durfee High School, Class of 1967.

Susan was an excellent homemaker and enjoyed cooking and baking. She had a great sense of humor and loved being in the presence of her family. She was truly one of a kind, always making everyone laugh with her quick wit, sassiness, a hilarious personality and her catch phrases. She will always be truly missed and live on forever in her family’s hearts.

She is survived by one daughter Susan L. Langellier and her boyfriend Jason Hall; one son, Casey Langellier all of Fall River; two step-daughters, Lynn Souza and her husband George, Donna Sroczynski and her husband Dave all of Somerset; one step-son, Leo Langellier III and his wife Diane of Exeter, RI; four sisters, Catherine Varanese and Ann Marie Golden both of Fall River, Patricia Hagan of Somerset and Theresa Levesque and her husband Paul of FL; one brother, Raymond Golden of IN; five grandchildren, C.J. Samuel Rodrigues, Daniel Arthur Andrade III, Jacqueline Golden Benevides, Theresa and Victoria Golden, six step-grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, three step great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Paul David Golden, great-grandmother of the late Seth Novo and sister of the late Janet Lipka, Nancy Toms and Robert, Joseph and Virginia Ruth Golden.

Her Funeral will be held on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at 10:00AM in the Waring-Sullivan Home at Cherry Place, 178 Winter St., Fall River. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday from 4:00 to 7:00PM. Flowers welcome or contributions in her honor may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Burial in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Fall River.
