Paul Ferris Solomon, age 69, of Tiverton, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 19, 2020 at HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center after a long illness. His family was by his side during this difficult road and at the time of his passing.
Born in Boston, he was the son of the late George Solomon and Dorothy (Zine) Solomon. He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Lisa (Sabra), his daughters, Mary and Melanie, his brother and his wife, Michael and Nancy, and his sister, Dorothy Murphy, along with many nieces and nephews.
Paul spent most of his years as founder and former owner of Melary, Inc., a bakery distribution company. He then became a part of the finance team at Toyota.
Paul was born a free spirit. He loved nature and his travels lead him across the country. One of his greatest joys in life was experiencing the natural wonders that he found on his adventures through the backroads of Alaska. Paul’s request to be cremated and to have his ashes scattered over the Grand Canyon says it all.
“To walk in nature is to witness a thousand miracles”.
He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all those who knew him.
Due to Covid-19, memorial services will be held at a later date and are in the care of Waring-Sullivan Home at Cherry Place, Fall River.
Donations may be made to HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center (1085 North Main St, Providence, RI 02904).
