Marc D. Davis, age 53, passed away Tuesday, April 25, 2017, in Charlton Memorial Hospital from an abdominal aneurysm. Born in Fall River, MA a beloved son of Marifran (Gibney) Davis and the late Wallace Davis he was a lifelong resident of the city.
A graduate of B.M.C. Durfee High School, class of 1981, he was a U.S. Navy veteran having served from 1982 – 1986 on the USS Carl Vinson, CVN 70 earning two Sea Service Deployment ribbons. Mr. Davis was a Fall River Firefighter for many years before retiring in the 1990’s. Marc loved his family, his country and the New England Patriots.
In addition to his mother he is survived by two sisters, Robin Davis and Noreen Francisco; a beloved nephew, Jay Vadeboncoeur; step daughter Kayla (Cote) Dechaine and her husband Tyler and many aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
His Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at 7:00PM in the WARING-SULLIVAN HOME AT CHERRY PLACE, 178 Winter St., Fall River, visitation prior 4:00 to 7:00PM. Burial will be private. For directions and online registration, www.waring-sullivan.com.
