Born in Battambang, Cambodia, son of late Nhem Sai and Nhem Khat. He and his family refuged to America in 1984. Their first home was in New London CT and have lived in Fall River since 1992.
Khun enjoyed fishing, music of all culture, spicy food and most of all he loves his TV. Always with a good joke, he will be remembered for his great sense of humor. Time spent with his family was what he most cherished; playing cards with his family to watching Disney movies with his grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by five daughters, Sokha Nhem, Sokheang Blake, Sokhen Nhem, Sarah Nhem and Carol Nhem and a son, Samkhann Nhem; a younger brother San Nhem; two sisters, Khaim Nhem and Soy Nhem; ten grandchildren; one great grandson and many nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late Samnang, Srey Nich and Barang Nhem.
His service will be held Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at 8:30 am in the Waring-Sullivan Home at Cherry Place, 178 Winter Street, Fall River followed by cremation at 10:00 am in Swan Point Cemetery, Providence.
