Candace S. “Candy” Chung, age 62, of Ashland, died July 23, 2011 at her residence. Born in Fall River, a daughter of the late Lee and Mildred (Wong) Chung she spent many years in Fall River moving to Ashland in 1983.
She was a graduate of BMC Durfee High School, Class of 1966 and Northeastern University, Class of 1970. She was a computer analyst for Bank of America in Boston for over 15 years. An animal lover especially cats, she adopted her cat, “Ring-a-Ding” and had previously owned three dogs: “ Cisco, Lucy and Phoebe”. Candy also liked traveling and cooking.
Surviving is one sister, Linda M. Chung with whom she shared her home in Ashland, her Aunt and ‘second mother’, Barbara J. Wong of Fall River, six cousins, Amy, Frederick, Stanley, Nelson, Margaret and Albert and several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held Thursday, July 28, 2011 at 12:30 PM in the WARING-SULLIVAN HOME OF MEMORIAL TRIBUTE AT CHERRY PLACE, 178 Winter St., Fall River. Visiting hours Wednesday 4-7 PM. Burial in Oak Grove Cemetery, Fall River.
