Rosario Garcia Garza

Rosario “Rosie” Garcia Garza entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at a hospital in Laredo, Texas at the age of 73. She was born on March 28, 1950 to Anacleto Garcia and Josefa Avalos Garcia in Laredo, Texas. Rosie worked for over 28 years with Jim Hogg ISD and held many positions including a Teacher’s Aide, Secretary, Payroll Department Personnel and more. She later worked as a Secretary with Canales Concrete Company in Hebbronville for over eight years until her retirement.

Rosie was an outstanding and smart person. She loved her family and, above all, was a great wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed making trips to the game rooms on her time off and to pass time she enjoyed puzzles like Sudoku and crosswords.

Rosario is preceded in death by her parents; son, John Roland Garza and brothers, Raul Garcia and Juan Garcia.

Left to cherish her memories are her husband, Mario Alberto Garza of Hebbronville; son, Steve Garza of San Antonio, Texas; brother, Miguel (Lourdes) Garcia of Spring, Texas; sister, Anita Gonzalez of Tomball, Texas; grandson, John Roland Garza, Jr.; great-granddaughter, Lynnzee Aleez Garza and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Private Family Services will be held at a later date.
