Rosa C. Perez

Rosa C. Perez, resident of Premont, Texas, passed away on Friday, March 17, 2017 at a nursing home in Falfurrias, Texas at the age of 92. She was born on August 30, 1924 to Antonio Chapa and Sara Villarreal Chapa in Duval County, Texas. Rosa was a wonderful housewife, mother, sister, grandmother and aunt. She had an unwavering faith that carried her through her daily life. As she entered the gates of Heaven, she was reunited with her parents; husband, Valentin Perez, Sr.; her only son, Valentin Perez, Jr. and all her siblings.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories her granddaughter, Melinda (Javier Gonzales) Perez; two great-grandchildren, Clarisa Denorah (Jose Velazaquez) Limones and Billy Acuna; one great-great-granddaughter, Elena Velazaquez all of El Campo, Texas and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Jesus Vera, Jr., Gilberto Rodriguez, Jose Valazaquez, Alberto Suarez, Tommy Suarez and Alberto Suarez, Jr.

Rosary will be prayed at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Falfurrias with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Funeral Mass will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the St. Theresa’s Catholic Church in Premont. Services will then conclude with burial at the Premont Cemetery.
