Luis Garza

Luis Garza entered into eternal rest on Thursday, March 23, 2023 surrounded by his family at his residence in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 83. He was born on August 9, 1939 to Luis Garza, Sr. and Maria Trevino Garza in Hebbronville, Texas. Luis proudly served in the United States Army.

He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Alberto Garza and brother, Ramiro Garza.

Luis leaves behind many fond memories that will be forever be treasured by his loving wife, Ninfa G. Garza of San Antonio; daughter, Velma Garza of San Antonio; son, Bobby (Nancy) Garza of Helotes, Texas; siblings, Maria Luisa Mora of Corpus Christi, Texas, Ilefonso Garza of Kingsville, Texas, Diana Valdez, Laura Chapa and Vicky Garcia all of Hebbronville; grandchildren, Danielle O. Prentiss (Curran), David Victor Silguero (Emily), Gabrielle N. Manibusan (Trey), Kassandra R. Garza, Kayla M. Garza and Luis Omar Garza; five great-grandchildren and many extended family members.

Pallbearers will be Rene Rodriguez, Marino Valdez III, Jay Garcia, John David Salinas, John Eric Salinas, and Ramiro Garza Jr. Honorary Pallbearers are Patrick Garza and Mark Mora.

Rosary will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Hebbronville with Visitation beginning at 8:30 a.m. Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Hebbronville and services will conclude with Burial at the New Hebbronville Cemetery.
